Dreams

(July 1996)
It feels so good to be living, loving and staying healthy and happy.  Life on this farm has been truly wonderful so far.  Today we picked some of our organic tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash and onions, plus all sorts of herbs and made some of the BEST salsa we have ever tasted.
In the late afternoon as the summer breezes blew through the valley we laid in our hammock and let them splash us in our face.  We played a couple games of horse shoes and then later observed two friendly butterflies that landed on our fingers and stayed for awhile.

We already have so many new dreams about all the plants we can grow, and the the things we can restore and rebuild.....but today we've taken a step back and have recognized that these special moments that we're living today were once the dreams we had yesterday
