So have you read enough about Butterfly Hollow, that you
feel like you have been here. Can you see the hammock stretched out
between the Elm and Mulberry tree? Can you smell the wild scents of
honeysuckle drifting along in the breeze? And can you see the horses
grazing on the mountain foothills that enclose our secluded piece
of paradise?
As we've travled through this adventure and began sharing the journey
with friends via these webpages, we often were asked if folks could
come and visit, camp or spend an evening here to learn a little more
about what we're doing and to get a truer taste of this lifestyle
or just were traveling through Tennessee and wanted a place off the
beaten path to stay. We always knew from the first day that it was
just too wonderful to keep to ourselves and envisoned somehow sharing
it with friends. So a bed and breakfast was born... but not your typical
commercial variety of course. "It's like coming to be with family"
one of our guests said. We're informal, relaxed, rustic and down to
earth.
Well
consider yourself invited. You can come to relax for a weekend, or
join us in some farm adventures like cattle roundups and tending to
the horses. You can also lend a hand in our gardens or just stretch
out in a hammock and count the butterflies that land on you. You'll
leave still tasting the memories of our home cooked breakfasts, featuring
our naturally raised vegetables and herbs. And you'll rest so
peacefully listening to the outside symphony of crickets and tree
frogs from one of our two spacious guests rooms in our rustic restored
1899 farmhouse.
